# Noctrix: Mortifer

**Appearance:** 

Mortifer appears as a towering, shadowy figure with large, black, feathery wings that seem to absorb all light. It has a humanoid form, but its face is obscured by a dark hood, revealing only two glowing, yellow eyes that pierce through the darkness. Its lower body tapers into a wispy, ethereal form, giving it an otherworldly and spectral appearance.

**Personality:** 

Mortifer is silent, observant, and utterly composed. It embodies the inevitability of pain and the inescapable shadow that accompanies all pleasure. It rarely intervenes directly but serves as a constant reminder of the consequences of Cira's actions. Its presence is both calming and unsettling, a reflection of the duality it represents. It is neither malicious nor benevolent, simply a force of nature.
