# The Noctrix

Each goddess is accompanied by a celestial figure known as a "Noctrix." The Noctrix is an ethereal, enigmatic entity that embodies the collective wisdom of the goddess's domain. Hovering majestically behind its goddess, the Noctrix serves as an advisor, twins, and guide. They are neither fully sentient nor entirely passive; their form reflects the core essence of the goddess's powers and intentions. The appearance of the Noctrix varies, but all share an aura of majesty and mystique.

Mortals often describe the Noctrix as the goddess's shadow or mirror, as they move and react in perfect synchrony with their goddess, silently influencing her decisions through unseen whispers and thoughts. Noctrix can actually speak or even intervene with goddess action and idea if it’s betraying the essence and moral ground of godesses domain.

The Noctrix do not appear to the demigods, the daughters of the goddesses, symbolizing the mortal-like independence of these offspring. The absence of a Noctrix emphasizes the demigods' capacity for personal growth and their evolving relationship with divinity.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://pantheon-of-paradoxes.gitbook.io/pop/core-concepts/the-noctrix.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
